You may have seen Finnerty Steeves in Orange is the New Black as Beth, the “baby killer”. She was also in The Blacklist, Sneaky Pete, Bored to Death, The Big C, to name a few. She’s worked on and off-broadway and won Elliot Norton Award for her work in theater.

But she is here today to talk about the new film that she wrote, produced and starred in called before/during/after. It’s about a middle-aged actress who is suddenly forced to figure out the kind of person she wants to portray in real life when her marriage comes to an end after she catches her husband cheating after 15 years of marriage. It’s a raw, deep, heartfelt, and emotional film. This movie will make you laugh out loud, and inspire you to believe in healing and the possibility of happiness!

I had the privilege of viewing this film before this interview and I’m so excited to chat with the star of the show.
